Vote Passed And Beckham Suspended

Lets start off with yesterday's blog's main point! The vote for using Goal-Line Technology was voted on yesterday in Zurich, and they voted for it! Apparently it wasn't even close. Like I said yesterday it might be used as soon as December in the FIFA World Cup Club and maybe even mid-season in the Premier League.

In La Liga news, Real Betis has confirmed getting the Arsenal striker, Joel Campbell. He will be there on loan for one season. Last season Campbell was on loan at the French side Lorient, scoring 3 goals in 27 appearances.Arsenal has also confirmed that midfielder Denilson will stay on loan at Sao Paulo.

Here is the big story for today! David Beckham, as we all know, now plays for LA Galaxy. He has been suspended and fined for actions during last Saturday's defeat against the San Jose Earthquakes.
A San Jose player was standing over his teamate seeing if he was okay after taking a foot to the head. Beckham, thought they where just time wasting, instead of actually seeing if their player was injured. He kicked one ball at the San Jose player and one ball at the referee. He succeeded in hitting both and drew a yellow card from the referee. A lot of people where surprised and kind of mad that he did not get for suspension after what Brek Shea got for hitting a referee. Shea was handed down a three game suspension for hitting a referee with the ball. Or his LA teamate Mike Magee getting suspended one game for throwing the ball at a ref and missing him completely. MLS Executive Vice President of Competition and Game Operations Nelson Rodriguez, said that the only reason Beckham was not going to get more suspension is that Shea really meant to hit the ref and aimed the ball at him, while Beckham tried to hit a player. Who knows what Beckham was really thinking when he struck the ball in the direction of the player and the referee.

Well that is where we end today's blog, tomorrow expect a little longer one!
