Adidas, Nike or Puma? Ronaldo a better goalie than Valdes?

HAHA!! Today I'm on a laptop where I am staying and the WIFI is in top form! The video above is about where Robin Van Persie learned and practiced soccer in the Netherlands and his start. It is a nicely done video by Adidas and hope you enjoy. Don't worry you Arsenal haters it is about his roots and start, not his Arsenal career.

When Cristiano Ronaldo was walking off the field after playing Denmark, the fans chanted Messi, Messi at him. Ronaldo was VERY VERY ANGRY (different from Mario Gomez being VERY VERY HAPPY). Then Barcelona's president tried to fuel the rivalry even more between the two Spanish big boys Real Madrid and Barcelona by saying Ronaldo would not even make the starting XI (11) at Barcelona. He went on to say Ronaldo is the 12th best player in the world! I mean but look at it, where would you put the Portuguese faker on Barcelona? They have excellent right and left wingers and even better when David Villa comes back. And of course your not going to put him at striker and leave out Messi. Then Barcelona has like the best midfield in the world, so I really don't think you could put him there. I guess you could put him at goalkeeper there is a chance he could be better than the horrible Victor Valdes.

So lately I've started noticing the different brands that are on teams jersey's. Well like who makes there jerseys and all their merchandise and stuff. You know there are the big boy companies like the soccer kings pretty much like Adidas, Nike or Puma. But then you have littler ones like Umbro! Who the heck is Umbro anyway. Well I guess they have to be somewhat good since they make England, Ireland, and Sweden's jerseys. You might be wondering where I'm going with this. Well my thing is, which is really better? I am a Puma guy. I like there logo,  there training jersey's are nice. I wear Puma cleats and have Puma shorts, along with a Puma ball! But then some people like Nike or Adidas! Nike seems to come out with a few things then Adidas seems to try to copy it or make it better. When Nike released their dri-fit technology, a few weeks later Adidas came out with Clima-Cool. Both are different materials, but designed to do the same thing. Nike came out with this chip to put in your shoe and it tells you data about how much you've ran and other stats like that. Then just recently they have been telling about Smart Soccer the chip for your Adidas soccer shoe! So yes Nike might have a little advantage there. But then what if Adidas's soccer boots are better and nicer. Which I think they are. I've also noticed that most players in Pro Soccer wear Adidas cleats, more than they wear Nike, Puma and of course Umbro (do they even make cleats??). Xavi, Van Persie, and many others wear Adidas cleats, but then Mario Gomez comes out of the tunnel in Pumas :) ! So which is really better? Lastly its not like all the big name teams wear the same brand. Bayern Munich wears Adidas, Arsenal Nike, and Newcastle Puma. So in the end I guess it is all personal opinion. I will always mostly be a Puma guy throwing in Adidas and Nike. (But probably never Umbro)

Well that is it for today! Tomorrow a preview of the quarter finals in the Euro 2012 tournament!
