Boring Old Transfers and Euro 2012

Good Morning!!!!!! Well, I'm sorry to say todays blog is mostly about the England National Team and Chelsea. But, later on, we will have a little about the Euro 2012 and other transfer news.

England has a chance of winning the Euro 2012 tournament, but over the past few weeks that chance has gone plummeting down. Firstly, Frank Lampard, their captain will be out. He declared himself not fit to play after suffering a minor injury. Then a few days ago in England's friendly against the Belgiums, Gary Cahill was pushed into Joe Hart by Dries Mertens. This resulted in a broken jaw for Gary Cahill, ruling him out for the Euro's. Now that's not it either. One more thing will surely lead to the fall of England. Their new manager Roy Hodgson will not play Rio Ferdinand. Rio has much more experiance and this will most likely be his last chance to go to a Euro Championship. For some reason, no matter what, he will not play Rio. He says,"just for footballing reasons." Well after the Cahill injury everybody thought Rio had to come in off the bench, but Hodgson put in a lesser experianced Martin Kelly. We must not forget Wayne Rooney will miss the first two games on a red card

Mean while Chelsea is hogging up the transfer news. They have confirmed the signing with Eden Hazard and are closing in with a deal on Hulk. They are leaving poor Fernado Torres out in the dust. But thats just the kind of people they are!!! Maybe they are leaving poor Torres out because he only scored as many goals this season (Champions League Combined) as Arsenal defender Thomas Vermaelen. My favorite team Arsenal, as always, has boring transfer news. Our oustanding forward Robin Van Persie will not talk till after Euros.

Now, finally, to Euro 2012! First off, David Villa is missing the tournament for Spain, after suffering a broken leg in the regular season. He said he would not be back into shape for the tournament. In the end for Spain it won't really matter. They are almost invincable, after all. My prediction is the Germany will win the tournament. Even though they have the death group in the Euro's, they have a great squad with 8 of Bayern Munich's players. They will beat the Netherlands in the finals (a rematch of their group) of a score 4-3.
